The most average state in America

Ok, so I should be studying... But a girl needs to take a break every now and again, am I right?

I heard something on the radio today that made me smile- Illinois was ranked as the most AVERAGE state in the nation.  And I absolutely love that.  Maybe some of you would say that this means Illinois is boring, but I beg to differ.  I love the diversity here- you'll find a world-famous BIG city, but you'll also find small farmer's towns, and everything in between. 

So what do you think of this ranking?? Are you from Illinois? Have you been here? I'd love your thoughts!
